Digital Rentbook

For several years, one of my regular customers had been asking for a way to make the recording of their rental income simple and efficient. They used what seemed to me to be a very complex paper-based system and I just took a long time to get my head around the best way to handle something like this digitally.

Once you start looking at it, it isn't as easy as it seems. You have to follow a prescribed set of regulations (much the same in the UK and Isle of Man both) and the occupier must have a paper rentbook available for their own records.

I've eventually come up with Digital Rentbook. It allows the landlord to build a list of properties and set the weekly rents for them. Once created, when a new person wishes to move in, a digital rentbook is created for them when they are assigned a vacant property. Paper rentbooks can be printed, receipts can be issued on paper or via email, documents and contacts can be assigned to the resident and multiple reports can be produced.

The system is currently in final testing prior to deployment and I'd be delighted if anyone was interested in trying it out.
